In today’s podcast, Anthony Cekay sits down with jazz guitarist Avi Rothbard. A fellow graduate of the City College of New York, Avi and Anthony discuss how Avi came to play jazz; his journey from Israel to America; his journey from Boston to New York; and his major influences on guitar. They also talk about his recent solo guitar release Standard Solo Guitar Sketch available on CD Baby. Also an excellent cook, after the interview, Avi treated Anthony to chicken lunch (see photo).
