Podcast: Chip Taylor

Today’s podcast features legendary songwriter Chip Taylor. Chip’s most well-konwn songwriting credits are Wild Thing and Angel of the Morning, but he has also written many other songs since the sixties. His music has been performed by Willie Neslon, Johnny Cash, The Hollies, Waylon Jennings, The Troggs, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix and more. His recent collaborations with Carrie Rodriguez, Kendall Carson and John Platania, have garnered critical acclaim. Anthony and Chip talk about his career as a songwriter and performer; his time off from music as a professional gambler; and his return to music and his recent projects including Rock and Roll Joe.
